"Mwen manke ou." is not a such good way to translate "I miss you". You should instead say: "Mwen sonje ou."
I miss you.
Mwen sonje ou.
I missed you this morning.
Mwen te sonje ou maten an.
I miss you.
Mwen sonje ou.
I missed you this morning.
Mwen te sonje ou maten an.
