I have trouble with the "ò " sound. What would pòt rhyme with in English?
Concerning the sound of "
o
" and "
ò
" in Haitian Creole,
Pòt (door)
rhymes with
rot, bought, lot, dot, not
of the English language
whereas
Po (skin),
without the accent, would rhyme with
beau, low, row, mow
Ask me anything
