Do you know of any Advanced Haitian grammar / textbooks? Thank you!

Albert Valdman's Ann Pale Kreyòl (book and audio) is a good one
The most complete that I know of.

  1. I've got this book:

But I haven't started it yet, so I don't know how good it is.

    1. Do you also have the audio? If yes, please let us know how you like it once you've started it? Thanks!

  2. I bought the Creole Made Easy set and I love it! It may be more beginner/intermediate than advanced though.

  3. Ann Pale Kreyòl is in limited print and retails between $50-$100 if you can find a copy. Luckily, you can download the book legally and free here:
    http://www.eric.ed.gov/ERICWebPortal/search/detailmini.jsp?_nfpb=true&_&ERICExtSearch_SearchValue_0=ED356617&ERICExtSearch_SearchType_0=no&accno=ED356617

And some of the audio files for the book (provided by the publisher) here:
    http://www.indiana.edu/~creole/APKAudio.zip

You can also find a free online Kreyol course by the University of Notre Dame:

    Hope this helps! :)
