I was wondering about terms of respect in HC. My textbook mentions Konpè to address an older male relative. Are there other respectful terms or codes that should be observed?

You mean HT not HC.
Haiti's last name is Toma. Ayiti Toma :)

Addressing an older male as Mesye or Tonton (plus their last name) would work too.
Addressing married women as Madanm (+last name),
and unmarried women as Matmwazèl.

It's better not to keep eye contact too long with someone older than you.
If you're walking a path and do make eye contact, do say Bonjou or Bonswa mesye (to males) and Bonjou or Bonswa Madanm (to females)

how do you say go back to haiti

Go back to Haiti.
Retounen Ayiti.

Should I get my "No bully" flag out?

can you explain this day in Haiti today..something about celebrating the workers and all the children plant trees or something like that?

It's Labor Day (the international version)
It's called Fète du Travail, or Journée International du Travail.

In Creole, it's called
Jounen Entènasyonal travay
or
Jounen Entènasyonal Lit Travayè

It commemorates the struggle and social contributions of the working class. It's celebrated internationally.
