Re: "panyen pesi" in previous post. Doesn't that expression also mean "dumb"

Yes.
It is used in the expression equivalent to:

English expression: As dumb as a doorknob.
Creole expression: Sòt pase yon panyen pèsi.
Literally:                Dumber than a bunch of parley
