Dyak sat in his chair, rubbing his chin like a philosopher who had just discovered a new branch of science: Mouse-ology.
He looks at his wife Ovila, and his two daughters Tika, and Freya, three women who could argue down a senator, lift a sofa to sweep under it, and run the entire household with military precision. But the moment a mouse appeared? All that power evaporated like hot water on a tin roof.
Dyak whispered to himself:
“Men gade sa… fanm yo ka fè tout bagay. Yo ka dirije kay la, yo ka fè plan, yo ka vire w sou ti dwèt yo. Men lè yo wè yon sourit? Tout fòs disparèt.”
