I understand. What does have the same definition as "phrase"?
ReplyDeleteA phrase, I believe, can be an expression, an idiom, a prose. It is a group of words, or just one word that expresses something.
ReplyDeleteA phrase does not need to be a complete sentence.
Whereas a sentence must be complete with a subject and a verb.
