With "more", Shouls I use "plis" or "pi". As in the sentence, 'This chair is more expensive."

This chair is more expensive. - Chèz sa pi chè.

There are more chairs in this room. - Chanm sa plis chèz. or Gen plis chèz nan chanm sa.
