      pwatann or pwa tann is string bean

      Rete tann jouk ou tounen pwatann is an expression that means to wait forever. That Creole sentence is all about the rhyming of tann and pwatann, just like "See you later alligator; after a while crocodile'

      It's a very popular expression in H. Creole. If you google that expression, you might be able to see how Haitians use it in their conversation.
