Pistache?

Pistache → French for "peanuts", Creole word would be "pistach"

  1. My dictionary tells me that the French word for "peanut" is "arachide"; "pistachio" is "pistache".

Does this mean that English "peanut" = French "arachide" = Creole "pistach"?

  2. Yes, you are right.

Does anyone use "cacahuètes" any more?
