to be known for → gen repitasyon

 Fanmi li gen repitasyon gaspiyè.
His family is known for their indulgence.

 Mesye sa gen repitasyon moun debyen.
This  man is known for his cordiality.

 Pran prekosyon ak fanm sa, li gen repitasyon vòlè.
Watch out for that woman, she's known for her sticky fingers.
