How does one translate "own" as a verb? "The Native Americans own this land."

To own  → gen, genyen, posede, and also se mèt or se propriyetè (to be the owner of)

"The Native Americans own this land."
"Ameriken Endyen yo se pwopriyetè teren sa a."
