    Madanm. Pou ki sa se li "a" olye de "la" nan fraz ou pou "the"? M te panse li
    te sipoze "la"? Mesi.

      The definite article "a" follows the vowels.
      So, because of the "e" in chofè we say: chofè a.

      The definite article "la" follows the consonants.
      If we had the word "gid" at the hand, then because of the consonant "d" in "gid we would say "chofè gid la"
