First (adj.) → premye
First (n.) → premye
Firstly (adv.) → an premye, premyèman

Second (adj) → dezyèm
Second (n.) → dezyèm
Secondly (adv.) → an dezyèm, dezyèman

Third (adj.) → twazyèm
Third (n.) → twazyèm
Thirdly (adv.) → an twazyèm, twazyèman

I was there first.
Mwen te la an premye.

I am the first child.
Mwen se premye pitit.

My brother is the third.
Frè mwen an se twazyèm nan.

First, 'd like to talk to you, then we'll eat.
Premyèman, mwen ta renmen pale ak ou, apre na va manje.

Premye bagay m'ap fè se ...

Dezyèm bagay ...


Trust me, we will not leave you hungry.  (Is "you" plural?
Kwè m si ou vle, nou p'ap kite nou san manje. (nou - plural)

There are other ways to translate this sentence, but the above is my first choice:
Kwè mwen, nou pap kite nou grangou.
Kwè mwen, nou pap kite nou ak grangou nan vant.
