How dare you?
Ki dwa w? (Literally, What rights do you have?)
or sometimes
De ki prevyen w?
De ki mannigans?
How would you say "you're busted!" in Creole?
You're busted!
Yo pran w!
Yo kenbe w!
Yo bare w!
I busted you! (I got you!)
Mwen pran w!
Mwen kenbe w!
Mwen bare w!
lakaye
Do you mean lakay (as in: home)?
home - kay or lakay, and sometimes ka
at home - lakay
I am going home - Mwen pral lakay. or Mwen pral lakay mwen.
at his/her home - lakay li
I am going to his home - Mwen pral lakay li.
Or did you mean Lakayè / Akayè / Arcahaie, the city west of Port-au-Prince?
how do you say horseradish in creole. Do they have horseradishes in Haiti? Can I buy it in the mache?
We did not grow horseradishes in Haiti.
I don't remember seeing them in the markets either.
You can, however, look up the French name for it which is "raifort".
If anyone happens to know the Haitian Creole name for horseradish, please let us know. Thanks :)
Do you think i can wear a grey suit and with sleeve under it and a grey tie and black you shoe to church this morning.
Whether you're in flip-flops or dressed like a king, you should be good for "churching". If anyone tells you anything different, then there's a problem.
how to say I love this guy in creole
Mwen renmen nèg sa.
Mwen renmen nonm sa.
Mwen renmen mouche sa.
Mwen renmen mesye sa.
