I know "to have fun" is translated as 'amize you' and 'pran plèzi ou'. But i heard someone used a word for 'have fun', and it sounded like the english word 'distress'. Can u help with that?

must have been the word "distrè", from the French "distraire"

Distrè (a reflexive verb) → to have some fun, to entertain self
