Can the haitian creole word for "man" or "woman" be also used as an adjective?
The answer is yes.
gason (adj.) → macho, hunk, courageous, brave
fanm (adj.) → womanly, sensuous, matronly
Examples:
Li pi gason pase w.
He's more manly that you.
Pa gen fanm ki pi fanm pase ou.
No women is more sensuous than you.
How do you say "I did not know what she looked like"
I did not know what she looked like.
