What does "bon jan lodyans" mean?
Bon jan lodyans → great comedy, great entertainment, great comicality, great chat and conversation
Then what is the Creole word for "audience"?
ReplyDeleteHaitian Creole translation for "audience" is asanble, kongragasyon, spektatè, piblik, moun, or foul moun.
ReplyDeleteBut the Haitian Creole word "odyans or lodyans" stands for comedy, entertainment, telling tales, to tell jokes, entertaining conversation
Example:
After dinner, the family had some entertaining conversations.
Apre dine, fanmi an t'ap bay bon jan lodyans
Correcting an error: It's kongregasyon, not "kongragasyon" :)
ReplyDeleteThanks.
