1. Pòv malerèz
    Poor miserable woman
    "Poor thing"

 2. Pòv malere
    Poor miserable man

 3.  Fò n ede pòv malerèz la.
     We have to help the poor woman.

 4. Pòv malere! Li te bezwen yon ti manje. L'al dòmi tou grangou.
    Poor man!  He needed some food.  He went to bed hungry.

 5. Ki sa n'ap fè pou pov malere sa yo?
    What will we do for these poor people?
